Ngoc Son Temple
Visit Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake—a serene spiritual site in Hanoi known for its iconic red bridge and rich cultural heritage.
Ngoc Son Temple is one of Hanoi's most famous cultural and spiritual sites. It is set on Jade Island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake. The temple is a peaceful place where locals and tourists go to pray for good luck, wisdom, and peace of mind. It is known for its beautiful traditional architecture.
The temple, which dates back to the 19th century, honors Tran Hung Dao, a national hero who led Vietnam to victory over the Mongols, and Van Xuong De Quan, the Taoist god of knowledge and success. Visitors cross the bright red Huc Bridge, which means "Morning Sunlight," to get to the temple. The bridge has become a symbol of the lake itself.
Ngoc Son Temple is still a must-see place because of its peaceful setting, beautiful decorations, and well-planned layout. It offers both spiritual insight and a great view of the center of Hanoi.
